Lekker Sous-Hoender

  • Pak 15 hoenderstukke in oondbak.
  • Sprinkel met hoenderspeserye en sout,
  • 2 t fyn knoffel en 1 gekapte ui.

Meng bestandele vir sous:

  • 175 ml plein jogurt,
  • 250 ml mayonaise,
  • 50 ml bruin suiker,
  • 75 ml tamatiesous,
  • 10 ml worcestersous,
  • 100 ml blatjang, paar druppels tobascosous, as verkies.

Metode.

  1. Gooi bo-oor hoender.
  2. Bedek met tinfoelie,
  3. Bak vir 1 uur by 180 gr C.
  4. Haal tinfoelie af en bak verder vir 45 minute.
  5. Bedien op rys of kapokaartappels.

Yummy Chicken in Sauce

  • Pack 15 chicken pieces in oven pan.
  • Sprinkle with chicken spices and salt,
  • 2 t fine garlic and 1 chopped onion.

Mixing ingredients for sauce:

  • 175 ml full yogurt,
  • 250 ml of mayonnaise,
  • 50 ml of brown sugar,
  • 75 ml tomato sauce,
  • 10 ml Worcester sauce,
  • 100ml chutney, few drops of tobaco sauce, if preferred.

Method

  1. Pour mixture over the top of the chicken.
  2. Cover with tin foil,
  3. Bake for 1 hour at 180 C.
  4. Remove tin foil and continue baking for 45 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
