While we’re still on the topic of different socket/outlet types, let’s see what the rest of the world uses. From the Americas to China to India, as you can see, it seems like everybody wants a quirky design of their own.
This infographic only covers some of the most popular travel destinations. There are plenty of countries not included here. While the different shapes are interesting, it does make you wonder why there isn’t just one universal design. It would definitely make backpacking or traveling easier.
