Healthy Hot Chocolate

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp dark chocolate
  • Sweetener to taste – honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla ( optional)
  • A pinch of salt
  • Dash of cinnamon ( optional)

Recipe:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the milk, cacao powder, dark chocolate sweetener, and a pinch of salt (can also add a pinch of cinnamon and some vanilla extract).
  2. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Remove from the heat and pour into a mug.
  4. Top with whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate, if desired.
