Healthy Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 1 tbsp dark chocolate
- Sweetener to taste – honey, maple syrup or coconut sugar
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla ( optional)
- A pinch of salt
- Dash of cinnamon ( optional)
Recipe:
- In a small saucepan, combine the milk, cacao powder, dark chocolate sweetener, and a pinch of salt (can also add a pinch of cinnamon and some vanilla extract).
- Whisk until smooth.
- Remove from the heat and pour into a mug.
- Top with whipped cream and shaved dark chocolate, if desired.
