Condensed Milk Tart

  • 3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons white or brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons custard powder
  • 1 dessert spoon caramel essence
  • 1-2 packets lemon flavor tennis biscuits
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • Half cup lemon juice
  1. Pour milk into a saucepan and add sugar.
  2. Heat until boiling.
  3. Add custard powder, mixed with a little extra milk, and stir until smooth and cooked.
  4. Stir caramel essence through.
  5. Mix condensed milk and lemon juice in a separate bowl.
  6. Layer cookies, add a bit of custard, and then a bit of condensed milk mix.
  7. Repeat layers and finish with a condensed milk layer.
  8. Sprinkle extra cookies on top.
  9. Let cool and place in the fridge.
