Ingredients:

Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour three 8-inch round cake pans.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Combine: Gradually add dry ingredients to wet, alternating with milk, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Bake: Divide batter among pans, smooth tops, and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Make Frosting: Beat butter until creamy.
- Gradually add confectioners’ sugar, then milk and cotton candy flavoring.
- Add food coloring if desired.
- Assemble: Once cooled, layer cakes with frosting, cover the outside with frosting, and decorate with cotton candy.
