Asian-Inspired Skinny Chicken Stir-Fry
Lean and Green Chicken Stir-Fry Feast
Ingredients:
- 1 pound chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup snap peas
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onions, chopped for garnish
Directions:
- Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken slices, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Remove from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, snap peas, and carrot.
- Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the chicken to the skillet.
- Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Stir well to combine and heat through.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
