Pizza Casserole
Ingredients:
- 1 lb rotini pasta
- 1 lb ground Italian sausage
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 3 cups pizza sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup mini pepperoni
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook rotini pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned.
- Add the diced onion and green bell pepper, cooking until softened.
- Combine the cooked pasta, sausage mixture, pizza sauce, black olives, mushrooms, and half of the mini pepperoni in a large bowl.
- Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and the remaining mini pepperoni.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
