Classic Mornay Sauce
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Once the butter is melted, add the all-purpose flour to the saucepan.
