Creamy Sausage Pasta

Decadent Tuscan Sausage and Pasta Delight

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 8 oz pasta (any kind you prefer)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup spinach, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

  1. In a large pot, cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  5. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
  6. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Bring to a simmer.
  8. Add spinach and sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet.
  9. Simmer until the spinach is wilted, about 2 minutes.
  10. Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  11. Serve immediately.
