Creamy Sausage Pasta
Decadent Tuscan Sausage and Pasta Delight
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 8 oz pasta (any kind you prefer)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup spinach, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
- In a large pot, cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer.
- Add spinach and sun-dried tomatoes to the skillet.
- Simmer until the spinach is wilted, about 2 minutes.
- Toss the cooked pasta in the sauce, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately.
