Caprese Pasta Salad

Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of pasta (penne, fusilli, or your favorite shape)
- 1 pint of cherry tomatoes, halved
- 8 ounces of fresh mozzarella cheese, diced
- 1/4 cup of fresh basil leaves, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Cook the Pasta:
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
- Allow it to cool completely.
- Prepare the Salad:
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked pasta, halved cherry tomatoes, diced fresh mozzarella cheese, and thinly sliced basil leaves.
- Make the Dressing:
