Parmesan Crusted Chicken
Ingredients:
- 4 chicken breasts, pounded thin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
Directions:
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place flour, beaten eggs, and a mixture of Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in three separate shallow dishes.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the chicken breasts until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
