Creamy Garlic Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 cups spinach leaves

Directions:

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  5. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  6. Stir in chicken broth, heavy cream, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Bring to a simmer.
  8. Add spinach to the sauce and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes.
  9. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it.
  10. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
