Blue Cheese Stuffed Pears
Ingredients:
- 4 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 4 oz blue cheese, crumbled
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pear halves cut-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine the crumbled blue cheese, cream cheese, honey, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon the blue cheese mixture into the hollowed-out centers of the pear halves.
- Sprinkle the top with chopped walnuts and fresh thyme, if using.
- Roast the pears in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are tender and the cheese is melted and slightly golden.
- Serve warm as an appetizer or snack. Enjoy!
