Custard and Condensed Milk Tart

  • 1 liter of Milk
  • 5 tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 heaped tablespoons of cornstarch.
  • 2 slightly heaped tablespoons of custard a little milk
  • 125 ml of lemon juice
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • biscuits
  1. Cook 1 liter of Milk, 5 tablespoons Sugar in saucepan and stir so that sugar does not burn and when boiling add the following batter.
  2. 3 heaped tablespoons of cornstarch and 2 slightly heaped tablespoons of custard a little milk.
  3. Stir well and then add to milk when boiling.
  4. Stir well and simmer for a few minutes.
  5. Mix 125 ml of lemon juice with 1 can of condensed milk.
  6. Pack a layer of biscuits in a bowl, spoon half of the milk batter on top, then again biscuits, then all the condensed milk again biscuits and then the other half of milk batter.
  7. Crush biscuits and sprinkle over pie.

Bestandele

  • 2 kop melk
  • 1/4 t koeksoda
  • 2 kop suiker
  • 1/2 t sout

Metode:

  1. Los alle bestandele op in die melk.
  2. Kook vinnig vir so 1/2 uur tot romerig.
  3. Roer aanhoudend maar moenie laat melk oorkook nie.
  4. Laat afkoel en bottel dit.
  5. Plaas in yskas.
  6. Dit kan in enige resep gebruik word.
  7. Dit proe soos gekoopte kondensmelk en is lekker soet !!!!
  8. Geniet dit.

Fluffy Condensed Milk Bread

Ingredients:

  • 240 ml (1 cup) warm milk
  • 75 g (¼ cup) condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 30 g (2 tbsp) sugar
  • 7 g (2 ¼ tsp) dry yeast
  • 520 g (4 ¼ cup) flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 50 g (¼ cup) butter, softened
  • 45 g (3 tbsp) butter
  • 45 g (3 tbsp) condensed milk

Method:

  1. Whisk warm milk with sugar and condensed milk.
  2. Add the dry yeast and an egg, whisk again.
  3. Combine liquids with dry ingredients – flour and salt.
  4. Work the dough with the dough hooks until it comes together.
  5. Add butter and knead for 10 minutes.
  6. Set the dough aside for 1 hour.
  7. Cut ⅔ of the dough and roll it out into a 25×40 cm rectangle.
  8. Roll the dough into a log and cut this log into pieces.
  9. Place pieces of dough into a prepared baking pan and set aside.
  10. To make smaller buns repeat the same process with leftover ⅓ of dough.
  11. Set the buns aside for 1 hour. Brush the top of each bun with egg wash before baking.
  12. Bake at 180C/350F for 25-30 minutes. For smaller buns, 20 minutes will be enough.
  13. Whisk equal parts of butter and condensed milk.
  14. Brush buns with this mixture while they are still warm.
  15. Remove from the baking molds when they are fully cooled down.
  16. Enjoy your fluffy condensed milk bread.

  • Halwe koppie suurlemoensap
  1. Giet melk in n kastrol en voeg suiker by.
  2. Verhit tot kookpunt.
  3. Voeg vlapoeier, aangemaak met bietjie ekstra melk, by en roer tot prut en goed gaar is.
  4. Roer caramel essence deur.
  5. Meng kondensmelk en suurlemoensap in aparte bak.
  6. Pak n laag koekies, gooi bietjie vla oor en dan bietjie kondensmelk.
  7. Herhaal lae en eindig met kondensmelk laag.
  8. Krummel ekstra koekies bo-oor.
  9. Laat afkoel en plaas in yskas.
