Romerige Mosselbroodjies

Genoeg vir 4 mense

  • 2 blikke (85g elk) mossels, gedreineer
  • 1 groot ui, gerasper
  • 3 knoffelhuisies, gekap
  • 250 ml (1 k) cheddarkaas, gerasper
  • 125 ml (½ k) mayonnaise
  • 1 Franse brood/panini/ciabatta, in dik skywe gesny (8 skywe)
  1. Voorverhit die oond tot 200 °C.
  2. Meng die mossels, ui, knoffel, kaas en mayonnaise.
  3. Verdeel die mosselmengsel tussen die broodskywe en smeer rofweg op elkeen.
  4. Pak die broodskywe op ’n bakplaat en rooster 10 minute of tot die mengsel op die broodskywe effens goudbruin begin raak.
  5. Sit dadelik voor saam met slaai.

Creamy Mussel Buns

Enough for 4 people

  • 2 cans (85g each) mussels, drained
  • 1 large onion, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 250 ml (1 cup) cheddar cheese, grated
  • 125 ml (½ cup) mayonnaise
  • 1 French bread/panini/ciabatta, thickly sliced (8 slices)
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  2. Mix the mussels, onion, garlic, cheese and mayonnaise.
  3. Divide the mussel mixture between the bread slices and spread roughly on each.
  4. Place the bread slices on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes or until the mixture on the bread slices begins to turn slightly
  5. golden brown.
  6. Serve immediately with salad.

  • 10 porsies hoender
  • Sout en peper
  • 250 ml blatjan
  • 250 ml mayonnaise
  • 30 ml heuning
  • 10 ml kerrie
  • 1/2 pak bruin uie soppoeier
  • 1 el pietersielie
  1. Pak hoender in oondbak geur met sout en peper.
  2. Meng res van die bestandele en gooi oor hoender.
  3. Bedek met foelie.
  4. Bak 180 gc vir 40 min.
  5. Verwyder foelie en bak tot gaar en bruin.

Creamy Curry Chicken

  • 10 pieces of chicken
  • Salt and pepper
  • 250 ml of Chutney
  • 250 ml of Mayonnaise
  • 30 ml of honey
  • 10 ml of curry
  • 1/2 pack brown onion soup powder
  • 1 branch parsley
  1. Pack chicken in oven safe dish with salt and pepper.
  2. Mix remainder of ingredients and pour over chicken.
  3. Cover with foil.
  4. Bake 180C for 40 min.
  5. Remove foil and bake until cooked and browned.

1 pakkie (500 g) macaroni
1 houer (250 ml) suurroom
1 groot eier, geklits
1 blik (410 g) roomsoetmielies
1 koppie bevrore ertjies
4 hoender borsies – ontvel – gaar gekook en gevlok
Sprietuie, gekap of 1 ui gekap
Sout en peper

Cheddarkaas, gerasperVoorverhit oond tot 180 C.
Maak pasta volgens aanwysings op pakkie gaar.
Dreineer en plaas in `n groot oondvaste houer.
Meng res van bestanddele, voeg enige geurmiddels by, en roer by pasta in.
Bedek met kaas en bak vir 20-25 minute tot goudkleurig.
Wenk: Indien jy nie suurroom het nie, gebruik room met 1 eetl asyn in, of gebuik ‘n halwe pakkie wit uiesop of sampioensop aangemaak met so 300ml melk.

Braai 2 uie saam met ‘n halwe potjie knoffel.
Gooi 1 pak sampioene by en braai.
Gooi ‘n pak gemengde seekos by en braai vir sowat 5 minute saam.
Roer by 250 ml vars room en 1 pakkie wit uiesop.
Laat dit vir ‘n halfuur prut
Dien op saam met rys en Franse brood.


Creamy Seafood
Braai 2 onions with half a clove of garlic.
Add 1 pack of mushrooms and braai.
Add a pack of mixed seafood and braai together for about 5 minutes.
Stir in 250 ml fresh cream and 1 packet of white onion soup.
Let it simmer for half an hour
Serve up with rice and French bread.

knyp sout
vars gemaalde swartpeper
150 g botter
200 ml suurroom
3 knoffelhuise, fyn gekap
15 ml gekapte vars gemengde kru ie
pakkie gekapte vars sampioene
60 ml brandewyn
20 ml suurlemoensap

METODE:
Barefoot Stiletto I Walk tall with your feet on the ground.
Meng die bestanddele van die brandewyn-en-sampioenroom saam.
Rooster die vleis oor gloeiende kole tot liggaar, 10-12 minute aan albei kante, of halfgaar, 16-18 minute aan albei kante.
Geur met sout en peper. Verdeel die -brandewyn-en-sampioenroom in vier gelyke dele en skep ‘n deel daarvan bo-oor elke vleisskyf.
Bedien dadelik.


Creamy Brandy Wine and Mushroom Steak

4 x 25 mm thick steaks
Pinch salt
freshly ground black pepper
150 g butter
200 ml sour cream
3 garlic houses, finely chopped
15 ml chopped fresh mixed herbs
packet of chopped fresh mushrooms
60 ml brandy
20 ml lemon juice

Method:
Mix the ingredients of the brandy and mushroom together.
Grill the meat over glowing coals until rare, 10-12 minutes on both sides, or medium rare, 16-18 minutes on both sides.
Flavor with salt and pepper.
Divide the brandy and mushroom cream into four equal parts and create a part of it on top of each meat drive.
Serve right away.
